TESOL Adventures: The Great Wall Marathon
The 42km Great Wall Marathon was inaugurated in 1999 and takes place in one of the world’s greatest monuments. If you are an experienced runner teaching English in China, this must be the most thrilling marathon you will enjoy in your life. If you are not an experienced runner, you can opt for a half-marathon or a 7.5km Fun Run!
The 2013 edition is coming in May. You can register at great-wall-marathon.com. Teachers coming from outside Beijing can book a 2-day tour that takes you to the Forbidden City and the Tiananmen Square.
